The Rooptara Valley guesthouse is located in Majkhali, Ranikhet. The room was large and pleasant, with plenty of room to roam about and rest. The bathroom was similarly spacious.But it was the breathtaking view of the Himalayas from the room windows that really set this homestay apart. The splendour of the mountains and the surrounding natural surroundings immediately captivated me. Every morning was like waking up to a picture-perfect postcard.

The homestay also included a spacious garden, which gave a pleasant and serene atmosphere in which to rest and unwind. I found myself spending a lot of time in the garden, breathing in fresh air and admiring nature's beauty. The market is only 1km away. Many other famous places include a golf course, an apple garden, and several famous temples such as Jhoola Devi temple, Harakhan temple, Binsar Mahadev, Kausani, and others. Within 10-15 kilometres.
