The property is located in Jibhi on the banks of the Pushbhadra River, surrounded by a lush green Cedar and Pine forest. To get to the property, walk roughly 700m via a wooded route, which adds to the whole experience. The walk takes you through the splendour of the forest, which is home to numerous native birds, animals, and plants. One cannot help but become absorbed in the surroundings. Throughout the day, several birds may be heard churping, which is great melody to the ears. The home is located in a fruit orchard, with just the forest visible all around.
Winters have their own allure, with one drinking a hot cup of Chai while watching a forest blanketed with snow. Or simply sitting around a bonfire with friends, singing songs and letting go of your concerns under the glow of the stars. Summers may be just as enjoyable, with fresh organically produced fruits and vegetables grown here after a refreshing bath in the river that not only rejuvenates the body, but also the soul. If you're lucky, you could even see a Himalayan rainbow trout swimming in the streams here. You may even pay someone to assist you in catching one if you like. There are several woodland routes to select from if you want to learn about village life and architecture. The Lost Escape is the ideal spot to stay while on vacation or simply to get away from it all and let mother nature nurture you.
This was one of the nicest stays I've ever had. The host, Prateek, is the kindest and goes out of his way to accommodate the visitors.
The location, the river, the mountains, the stars, and the bonfire are all amazing.

Please sample the 'Bichu ka Saag' and their delicious breakfast selections, such as parathas and omelettes.
Definitely better than the paisa-vasool bargain.

A breathtakingly gorgeous and tranquil setting surrounded by lush green mountains and a river running just in front of you. The rooms are clean and pleasant. The food and service are outstanding. We got to enjoy some delicious native cuisine. Prateek, the host, goes above and beyond to ensure that guests have an enjoyable stay. The property's best feature is their small dog Juno, who stole our hearts with her endearing antics. We were sorry to leave because of how much this area had impacted us. Will certainly return!
