Hi, I stayed there for a day while visiting mahavtar babaji's cave. The booking at katyuri also happened by divine intervention automatically, idk how ! And boy when I landed at the place, I felt welcomed in the divine way. Tushar is a gentleman, he is the person you would want to be and what mountains turn you become. Calm and poetic ! He made sure we were taken care in the best possible way, the place had a vibe which only comes when it is taken care with love and makes you feel at your home. Generous with tea and continuous care for our wellness, tushar made every possible way to keep our experience phenomenonal. We visited YSS further and I will never forget this experience. Tushar was way more than a ‘host’, friendly, yet very professional, and also an amazing and passionate musician. We enjoyed hearing all of his tales of wisdom. He literally took care of us in the best way since the booking with all logistics, being a consistent support throughout all the stay, making us feel like ‘home’. The food cooked and served by his beloved Mother is super delicious and nourishing. The energy of the house itself is very positive, it can be felt as soon as the gate is crossed. The canopy of flowers, plants and the beautiful front yard make it a heavenly abode of peace.”

Had a most memorable stay recently. The place has very pleasant, secure & homely vibes. The spiritual aura is a bonus. Perfectly located in a quite pristine corner of Dwaarahat , it is ideal for those who wish to explore this part of Kumaon as well as those who just wish to do nothing and chill. I chose the second option, and trust me nothing was more rejuvenating than simply sitting in the courtyard, listening to the birds singing and prayer bells ringing. Simply divine. The rooms have been very thoughtfully done up and re-appropriated from the original structure thereby retaining the old world rustic charm & innocence. Spotlessly clean and ergonomically appointed. Tushaar and his mother are fantastic hosts who treat all guests like family members. This is what a homestay ought to be in the true sense. And all this comes at a very reasonable cost. Nothing that I write here can describe the charm of the place. It has to be lived through to be understood. A word of caution….Do not come here if u wish to have a party, play loud music,have alchohol,eat non veg etc……will destroy the vibe of the place besides being extremely discourteous to the owners and disrespectful to the place.
