Vanilla County is a real and charming plantation home located near the Meenachil River's origin in the Mavady Hills near Vagamon, Kerala, and surrounded by rubber trees, numerous spices, trees, and plants. The region is part of the Western Ghats or Sahyadri Mountain ranges, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the world's eight hottest hot areas of biological richness. Vanilla County is located two and a half hours from Cochin International Airport, and its one-of-a-kind site lets visitors grasp the genuine meaning of ethical ecotourism. Vanilla County is an excellent starting place for excursions to the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Munnar Hill Station, Alleppey Backwaters, and Marari Beach.

Vanilla County proved to be a hidden gem for us. We stayed for three nights. The service, cuisine, and friendliness were exceptional. If you like, you may stay within the home or hire a car to visit Vagamon. Highly recommended for a visit, especially if you want to sample the delicious Kerala food.
What a lovely stay! Staff are pleasant and helpful, and they go out of their way to ensure that all of your wants and aspirations are satisfied. Come hungry and ready to eat wonderful South Indian cuisine supplied locally. My husband and I stayed there on our honeymoon and thoroughly loved it.
Wonderful stay. The Vanilla Room was outstanding. The personnel and their service are amazing. The cuisine was the finest we had throughout our two-week visit to Kerala. Walking about and doing small excursions provided us with a fascinating glimpse into the people and natural beauty of the area. We loved it!

Clearly the greatest property in Vagamon. The constructor and the entire crew have demonstrated an incredible commitment to maintaining high standards. The rooms are quite clean and well-kept. The entire crew is really welcome, nice, and helpful. The meal provided was wonderful and had a true handmade flavour. Their bakery, ideally positioned in the open dining area, is a valuable asset, offering a wide range of goods. Furthermore, their beloved dog, Coffee, is calm, kind, and popular with children. Nearby waterways offer a safe and delightful environment for youngsters to play.
One suggestion: it would be beneficial if they could assist guests, particularly during their first dinner, because presenting traditional Kerala cuisine may be difficult owing to the diversity of ingredients required.
