Our upstream tour begins in Guwahati, Assam's most populous city, and gradually progresses to the state's most prominent attractions. The Kamakhya Temple is our first stop on our tour as we immerse ourselves in Assam's rich customs. We then set off for a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with nature, animals, culture, and so much more.
Guests are received at Guwahati Airport
Day 1 taken for Kamakhya Temple visit and then board the Ship and sail towards Peacock Island.
Day 2 we visit a Banla speaking village and continue to sail and reach Silghat.
Day 3 after lunch we visit the Kaliabore tea estate for tea production.
Day 4 we drive to UNESCO World Heritage Site of Kaziranga for elephant and jeep safari and by noon we sail towards Bishwanath Ghat and enjoy an evening at a deserted island.
Day 5 we visit the weavers and sail to the Eastern Range of Kaziranga for a boat safari after lunch.
Day 6 we enjoy a morning at the tribal village of the Mishings and we sail towards Majuli to witness neo-Vaishnav Culture on the morning of
Day 7 This afternoon, we drive to Shivsagar for Ahom monuments.
Day 8, the guests deboard after breakfast to drive to the tea-estate for a home-hosted lunch with a Planter's family and then to the airport to board the flight from Jorhat airport. The downstream cruise begins on the same day (Sunday) and all activities are done in the reverse order.
