Gangtok is the capital of the mountainous northern Indian state of Sikkim. Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840s, the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended, but joined India in 1975. Today, it remains a Tibetan Buddhist center and a base for hikers organizing permits and transport for treks through Sikkim’s Himalayan mountain ranges.

Lachung is a mountain village close to the Tibetan border, in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim. It's divided by the Lachung River. The village is home to the 19th-century Buddhist Lachung Monastery, surrounded by apple orchards. Nearby, the Yumthang Valley's Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary protects many species of rhododendron. The valley is also known for its waterfalls, pine forests and hot springs.

Pelling is a small town in the northeastern Indian state of Sikkim, at the foothills of Mount Khangchendzonga. The late-17th-century Buddhist Sanga Choling Monastery has mountain views. Pemayangtse Monastery features wall paintings, sculptures and a gold-plated statue of Guru Padsambhava. Overlooking a valley, the 17th-century Rabdentse Palace, now in ruins, still has evidence of the king’s bedroom and kitchen.

DAY 01: NJP RLY. STN / IXB AIRPORT - GANGTOK (ABOUT 125 KMS / 4 HRS)-- Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP station / IXB airport & transfer to Gangtok - "The Capital City of Sikkim". On arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
DAY 02: GANGTOK (TRIP TO TSOMGO LAKE)-- After breakfast start for a day trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.), 34 km from Gangtok city & Baba Mandir. Tsomgo Lake freezes completely during the winter and is much revered by the locals. Overnight at hotel in Gangtok.
DAY 03: GANGTOK - LACHEN (ABOUT 125 KMS /6 HRS) -- After breakfast drive to Lachen (altitude 8800 ft) for about 6 hours. Enroute visit Singhik View point, Seven Sisters Water Falls, Naga Water Falls. Stop on way for lunch. Reach Lachen by evening. Dinner at hotel. Overnight halt at Lachen hotel.
DAY 04: LACHEN - GURUDONGMAR EXCURSION – LACHUNG -- After breakfast drive to Gurudongmar Lake(17800 ft) via Chopta Valley & Thangu. Back to Hotel for lunch, after lunch transfer to Lachung. Overnight at Hotel at Lachung.
DAY 05: LACHUNG - YUMTHANG EXCURSION -- GANGTOK (ABOUT 125KMS/6 HRS): -- Early Morning visit Yumthang - Valley (known as Valley of Flowers), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the yaks & winter playgrounds of yetis. On the way back visit the Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch. After lunch drive to Gangtok enroute witness the Beautification of the wonderful Bheema & Twin Falls. Overnight Halt in Gangtok.
DAY 06: GANGTOK-PELLING (ABOUT 125 KMS / 5 HRS) -- Transfer to Pelling. One can enjoy the spectacular Eastern Himalayan Range from Pelling. Overnight Halt at Pelling.
DAY 07: PELLING -- After breakfast start for full day sight seeing which includes Pemayangtse Monastery, Rimbi Falls, and Kanchendzonga falls, Khecheopalri Lake. Overnight Halt at Pelling.
DAY 08: PELLING - NJP RLY STN / IXB AIRPORT (ABOUT 145 KMS /5 HRS): -- After breakfast transfer to NJP Stn or IXB Airport for return journey.
