This temple, called the Old Shiva, is about 3 kilometres uphill from Jageshwar and is claimed to be Shiva's residence before he came down to Jageshwar. One of the most fascinating qualities of both Jageshwar and Vriddha Jageshwar is the unending peace they exude.
