Waghoba Eco-Lodge is located in the middle of Tadoba's untamed nature in Maharashtra. "Waghoba" is a mixture of two Marathi words: "wagh" for tiger and "ba" for respect. Waghoba is an old Tiger or Leopard god worshipped by numerous tribes. This is our eighth wildlife resort and is located near Tadoba National Park. The resort has established new norms for eco-friendliness and thoughtful luxury. The cottages were designed with sustainability in mind, drawing influence from the finest of eco-construction and local aesthetics.
The resort features 14 luxurious cottages inspired by local tribal communities, a swimming pool, a nature library, a lounge, and a wildlife hide for photography. Handmade Adobe bricks, Guna vault ceiling tiles, stone, and shattered pottery give it a rustic yet opulent appearance. This also helps to lessen the ambient temperature in Tadoba's intense heat, providing for a more pleasant stay.
Full payment is to be made in advance
The swimming pool is spacious and properly covered, allowing you to enjoy it even at the height of the day's heat, and it comes with a wonderful sun terrace to enjoy Tadoba's mild winters. The photographer in you will be delighted with a north-east-facing photographic hide overlooking a tiny, all-season lake body, with morning and sunset light falling ideally on the subjects. We have a nature library and lounge area with a hill view near the bird hide, which is a welcome variation from the region's mainly flat environment.
