DAY 01 DELHI – LEH
Arrive at Leh: Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your private chauffeur who will transfer you to your pre-booked accommodation. The rest of the day will be free to acclimatize yourself to the environment of Leh. In the evening you may explore the local area of your own.
DAY 02 LEH
Today morning drive to Thiksey to visit historical Thiksey Monastery. Continue further to see beautiful Buddhist Monastery in Hemis. After the visit drive back to Leh with en-route stop at Shey to see Shey Palace Complex located on a hillock.
DAY 03 LEH – PANGONG LAKE (4 – 5 HRS)
This morning after breakfast drive to Pangong Lake (165kms / 5 hrs). Arrive and check into your accommodation. The remaining day is at leisure to see and admire this beautiful Lake which seems to be dyed in blue, stand in stark contrast to the arid mountains surrounding it. Extending to almost 160km, one-third of the Pangong Lake lies in India and the other two-thirds in China.
DAY 04 PANGONG LAKE – LEH
Check out from your accommodation this morning and drive to Leh (165kms / 5 hrs), arrive and check in to your accommodation.
DAY 05 LEH – DELHI
Today morning check out from your accommodation and then proceed to Airport to take flight to Delhi.
Camping in Pangong Lake may be an unforgettable experience. Set up a campfire, fire up the grill, and take in the scenery - it doesn't get any better than this. As you arrive in Leh, you will be welcomed by a private chauffeur who will transport you to your pre-arranged hotel. Drive to Thiksey for a visit to the old Thiksey Monastery, Hemis for a visit to the exquisite Buddhist Monastery, and Pangong Lake (165kms / 5 hours). Drive back to Leh, stopping en route at the Shey Palace Complex. Leave Leh and get a flight to Delhi.
