Enjoy breakfast on board and then proceed to visit beautiful Mughal Gardens. Visit Chashmi-e Shahi. The Royal Spring is the smallest yet the more enchanting of the Mughal Gardens perched half way on the Dal side. The garden surrounds a tranquil spring with symmetrical hedges. Admire Nishat Bagh, a beautiful terraced garden which commands a breathtakingly awesome view of the Dal Lake. Next see Shalimar Bagh. The garden is largest and most famous of the Mughal Gardens in Kashmir and was built by Mughal emperor Jehangir for his wife Nur Jehan in 1619. After the visit return back to houseboat and enjoy a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake.
Post breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (56 Kms 2-3 hrs drive), the meadows of flowers, is one of India’s premier hill / ski resort. Gulmarg is famous for its exquisite valleys, gorgeous streams, and fascinating slopes for every sort of skiing and hiking. From Gulmarg, one can have breathtaking view of the 8137 mts high Nanga Parbat, the fifth highest peak in the world. Arrive and check into your pre-booked accommodation. The afternoon will be at your leisure to explore beautiful Gulmarg. You may enjoy a pony ride or a Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Kungdoori (Phase 1) or Gulmark to Aparwath on your own cost.
Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel and then drive to Pahalgam (146 Kms. approx 4½ drive). Arrive and check-in to the hotel. Surrounded by beautiful hills and lots of greenery and situated at the confluence of the Lidder and Sheshnag River, Pahalgam was once a humble shepherd’s village. It has full of exhilarating trekking routes into forests and alpine meadows on its side valleys. It is also the starting point for the annual Amarnath Yatra and has a 5th Century Shiva temple. The rest of the afternoon has been kept free for you to enjoy the beauty of Pahalgam and its surroundings valley. You may enjoy pony ride in Baisaran Valley or visit the beautiful Betab Valley.
Post breakfast check out from your hotel room and drive to Srinagar airport (approx… 97 kms / 4hrs) to catch airplane to onward destination.
